Perhaps some of you guys who have been around for awhile on 75m AM in the northeast might remember Rich, WA2RQY.  He was active mostly in the mid 1980s into the early 1990s out of Massapequa, Long Island.  He called his station "Confusion Radio".  He was a fixture at the local hamfests here in the area surrounding New York City.  In the late 1990s he became active selling older ham radio gear on eBay.  A few years ago he moved to Florida.

Unfortunately, I just found out that Rich has passed away. Here's the link:

Yes, I remember him as 'MyRadioRoom' or such online. Bought an item or two from him over the years, he always seemed to dig up some odd bits now and again. Didn't know him beyond that.

Sorry to hear of another ham passing. Just read some email from him on one of the lists in the last week or so.

I bought an AR-88 from Rich about 10 years ago. Went down to LI to pick it up. Had a real nice eyeball with him

RIP Rich

I did not know he was a musician and had a calliope. Looked too young to be ill.

Confusing post on that forum. Two different topics.  That was not Rich. The caption indicates it was someone named Jim.

I bought something from Rich some time ago too. Can't remember what it was but I do remember doing business with him.  Bummer to say the least.
