I have a question about the modulator used in the WRL Globe King transmitter.

I remember seeing an article on a website concerning the addition of negative feedback around the 6L6.  If I remember correctly it involved the addition of a resistive divider across the primary of the 811 driver transformer.  From the center of this divider the signal was connected to the plate of the 6C5 through a 100K resistor.

Does anyone have any information concerning this mod or know where I can find the website?

Tnx,

If you can find a Handbook from the 50s or 60s, the info will probably be in there.

Jerry, let me know if you find this, I would be most interested in it as well.  I have a modified GK400B and an unmodified 400C.  The modulator decks are significantly different.  The Couplates on the 400B have been removed.
