I have decided to not regulate the 28V, too much of a pain for my lazy self.  I have un-wound the secondary of the LV Toroidial transformer to get the 28V under load.

Now I may finish this thing, I hope it will be a very compact ART-13 supply...

Anyone know where to get fiberglass tape to seal this transformer back up?

Or maybe I will just use Kapton..............
