Receiving a number of inquiries on the setup here lately...so consolidated information that's appeared in various threads here plus additional measurements on the R-390A and/or the SoftRock. Hope interested parties find it useful.

Definitely worth printing and keeping for reference. A lot of ops coming out of the woodwork and telling of their experience with soft rock connected to their receiver.
Cleans up all the bad stuff and you still maintain a full robust voice or music in your ears.

Nicely written up Jay. When the R-390 was designed, computers were something you only saw on Flash Gordon episodes. As you said, it's a great example of "old meeting new".
