I would like to know the inductance of a coil. I'm hoping one of you can help.

The inductor is  9.5 turns
                     1/2" OD tube
                     3/8" tube spacing
                     7 7/8" outside diameter coil
                     6 7/8" inside diameter

Thanks in advance for any help.

10 uH

ref:

http://hamwaves.com/antennas/inductance.html

D = 187.32 mm ( 7.375 mean diameter center-to-center)

N= 9.5

L=211.14 mm (9.5 turns x .875 inches per turn center-to-center)

D= 12.7 mm (0.5 inch diameter tubing)

Thanks Stu,

Not only do I get the value of this inductor, I find a way to calculate my other inductor. I was hoping for that but never expected it. The AM Fone network ROCKS!
