Hello all,
I picked up a couple of DX-60's for parts and found one to be in pretty good working order and worthy or restoring. It's a DX-60A model, are there any major circuit differences between the A and B models?
I know the later DX-60 production was different, but can I use the DX-60B manual as a guide for the DX-60A?

Also, I'm going to move the HV off the function switch and onto a relay. I drew up the changes (based on a mod by WC3K) and would appreciate it if someone could double check my schematic.

Thanks es 73

Hi Dan ...  good looking schematic diagram ...a little more work would make this step start and slow WAY down relay contact erosion .....  use a DC coil relay (or some have reported sucessfully using a 120 Vac coil on 24 Vdc) with a charge up time constant of 1 or 2 seconds ... standard handbook stuff or ask if you need mo' info...73...John

That's a great drawing! Please tell us what software you used to create it, es TIA..

P.S. You don't need to zip your images: jpg's are already compressed. HTH.

Thanks Bill,
Actually that was a scan of the schematic then I free handed it with MS Paint.
I've done that for years so it's second nature to me. :-)

Thanks for the tip on images, I'll remember that.

Thanks John.
I do know the relay uses a 12 VDC coil so there I'm good.
I'll look at the delay and see what I find.
