Johnson makes some pretty nice guitars these days.

Especially good for the blues slide.

I can relate Derb.   Gov Crist took my DL last June, but the folks down at the tax collectors' office (here in FL the tax collector handles car tags and driver licenses - go figure) told me I can take the test and get it back.

Yeah, sure; I have Parkinsons and shake like a friggin mixmaster!  Turns out though my wife makes a good chauffer so I just open the window, hang my head out the window and drool on the car behind.

Three and a half years ago I was healthy, running around the NJ state prison "taking care of business"   Now I'm 46 years old, ride around in an electric wheelchair and dream of being able to send CW again.    (No fone either - my voice is gone.)

But ya know what?  It sure is fun with my face hanging out in the breeze.   If ya can't drive, enjoy the ride!

The thought of losing my DL scares the heck outta me.  My wife doesn't have one so there'd be no one to chauffeur me around.

My only hope is my kid.  In six more years she will be able to get one.

Of course I could always do what many of 'em do - drive without one.  What are the odds of getting caught?  Get yourself a used Police Interceptor - they'll never stop ya!

Note that I am not advising you to do this, Tim.  Not that it hasn't crossed your mind I am sure.
