I just read this a few minutes ago and am passing in on FWIW.

I believe the ARRL needs new leadership if we truly want it to be the "National Association for Amateur Radio" in the future. In recent years the ARRL Board of Directors has shown poor judgment in a number of ways. Perhaps the most obvious example is the "regulation by bandwidth" proposal (RM-11306) submitted by the League to the FCC. A large majority of the comments submitted by hams to the FCC on RM-11306 were negative; the League then tried to salvage part of RM-11306 by submitting an ex-parte revision which included an "erratum" that supposedly conveyed the ARRL's true desires. Finally, in the face of massive opposition, the ARRL asked the FCC to withdraw RM-11306 from further consideration.

Yes Indeedy.... Someone like this at the forefront, with ideals of "Balance" "Fairness" "Pride" ... Hey this guy got the right agenda going...

It's great to have all the warm and fuzzy visions and the buzz phrases to snag the votes but, in reality, you need 7 more Directors to think just like you do. It would be interesting to see and hear how he plans to pitch radical changes to the BoD majority. Of course, the way to win votes and get elected is to tell everyone what they want to hear. You can always back-pedal once you get the position.

Welp,.. we got alot of Concerned members and non members out here, and alot of folks are fed Up...The Time is Ripe, and it looks like this candidate is a man of the Public... it's amazing what can be done with Public support in the public eye there OM...
