Indeed!  Add 1 to the list.  Their daughter is already a member of Manaen's radio club  Grin Grin

Laura's call is KB3OGB.  I am going to get Zoe a shirt that says AMer in training.  I have been a little focused on finalizing our adoption of her at the moment...You wouldn't believe the questions you get asked, inspections, and health exams they ask you to go through...ridiculous.  The IRS gives you a tax break for your expenses but it really does not cover the expenses incurred in most adoptions.  It's amazing how much the little munchkins can cost you...and keep costing you when they get older and come back to the bank of Mom and Dad (actually I think it's more of a grant agency).

There is a picture of her with our oldest club member Holly Bevan (92) over here:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/22573993@N08/2349130406/  I tried to upload it over here but that failed...   Holly is an amazing lady, she is 92 (but gets around better than some 50yr olds) and handles the club's PR, still drives herself and talks on the radio at the same time (far better than most kids yaking on their cells and driving), manages attendance rosters for all club events, and runs a rather large commuter morning net at 147.105 (w3vpr repeater) in the MDC area.  It does look like the poor girl may end up being a geek  Grin Grin

I almost forgot...Thanks for the great party Frank and Carol!!

Having adopted 3 I know what you're going thru Manaen. But now they're all grown up (25,20 and 16) and it was well worth it.

Oh.... and thanks again for doing the dishes at Frank's.

Ditto with two Chinese daughters (11 and 12) here.

Yet no such questions asked when you get pregnant!

Buddly et. al.,
Patience, heh, heh.  -And it is too bad that the site wouldn't immediately accept a few shots in 'normal' time.
As you know, 'VJB put a tremedous amount of work in taking video of the glitteratti, most of the stellar hams at the pharty (not to mention the interviewer, 'XR of melodious, interminable voice.)  So I guess we wait for Utube. Yeah, Paul had distractions... I never thought of reflections in his glasses.

For that he ought to title his production, "Reflections"  or "Reflections of Timonium," or similar.

Paul will have to put in at least three times more work just editing the work.  So we wait with baited breath.. yes, to see who's who, who makes the cut, who ends up on the editing floor.
At last, the real and original meaning of "who makes the cut."
For these remarks a couple of us will probably slide into the aether, into oblivion, as easy floor material.

It will probably be at least until the following weekend until everyone has time to put their pix up. Now I wish I'd've brought my camera.
It sure was a great time with a great bunch of OM's.

G,  I've checked the Gallery, user galleries and photo archives and nothin' shows up here. All I can see are the ones posted in the thread.

That is because there have been none posted since the thread was started Bud .

I was just addressing the few that have stated the site would not accept photos. There have been photos added to threads all week.

Good point, G. I saw Pam and Maggie taking shots and a few others. I, like others, brought no camera - merely my lens destroyer (face). Guess I was too far away?  Grin

I can still see that big, red engine of Frank's jumping up and down as it ran, trying to bury itself in the yard. What a hoot!

Great shots Steve,

And Gary,
(pix reminded me...)
Thanks for the great cigars.  Everybody enjoyed them immensely, even 'JN who's been known to be an aficianado.
