Saturday night/Sunday morning, about 0700 GMT, I heard Jean, F6AQK working Jan, PA3HCO on 3705 in AM mode.  I broke in, and they immediately recognised me and got my callsign correct.  I went 2-3 rounds of conversation, reading Jean almost 100% and Jan about 50%.  Some other European stations joined the QSO, but I could not copy them, so I graciously signed out.

Even with the Beverage receiving antenna, I suppose I am too far into the hinterlands for comfortable two-way armchair copy with Europe.
