I have re-wound the secondary of a 3V 50A (that's right!) transformer to be 10V 15A.   I suppose now I should wrap it in fiberglass tape..

Anyone know of a source for said tape?

Thanks

Rich

Most telephone company cable splicers and linemen carry cases of that stuff on their trucks. Ask one of them. They will probably give all you want. Joe

Electrical contractor supply houses............

If you live on a coast, try a surf shop, as well.  You can also get raw resin from those types of suppliers.
