Not many people remain who can build a tube from scratch at home. This video shows how, step by step !!! When finished he even creates a load line graph ! May he keep his beard away from his propane torch and Vaccuum pump! His web site in French  http://paillard.claude.free.fr/   . Nothing New,  but some do not know how to save Videos to Hard Drive! Posted Jan. 07 2008,02:24 by g4tut at QRZ.COM,  Follows How to Save File;

Copy and Paste this URL  http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3wrzo_fabrication-dune-lampe-triode_tech

Into  http://keepvid.com/  And then Click Download on the Right

Then Click on Download Link before Download Link (.flv - Flash Video)

And Save the 54.5 Mb .flv file to disk

My Favorite .FLV Video Player (Open Source; Free no adds) for many platforms Windows, Linux, etc. (even apple) is  VLC Video Player

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

I convert this .flv file to NTSC, for my DVD friends who don't have a computer, with Nero 8.

This method works also with You Tube and many other Video Sites.  73  John, K1DEU

change that shit flv file to something you can work with. I prefer Quicktime, but hey, if you want to do .wmv, it'll do that too.
