Does anyone know what switch S15 on the RF deck next to the VFO does?  I can not find it located on the schematic or referenced in the documentation.

Well, it obviously selects something or not...  Roll Eyes

But seriously, on the exciter, or ??

Maybe a jpeg?
I can look at my RF deck and try to see what it is... but I have no idea what "S15" might look like or where it is located! How do you know it actually is "S15"?

Also, there is a T-368 group on Yahoo Groups...

Evening Dale...

It might have to do with MWO-3 which eliminated vfo birdies on frequency during receive...

That switch allowed an MWO-3 modified rf deck to work with a MWO-3 modified T-3 or an unmodified T-3... some modified rf decks just had a jumper wire to cut in place of the switch...

Have some info here:

http://home.att.net/~r391/www_ott/t368.htm

Read about it under "additional repairs remaining"...

Hmmm, interesting, your exciter was missing a spring too!
Mine was missing the rear one.
Yours?

Evening Bear...

Yeah, well... now that you mention it... think it was the rear one ... remember it was easy to get to...
