Here's our card for everyone. If you were in my address book, you got it in a mail.

These are 2 of our 7 cats, Satin on the left, Silky on the right.

Merry Christmas from Yogi the Wonder Dog.  He's a great traveler in the car and likes to listen to CW from my mobile.  I have to be careful not to shut the Yaesu down in CW mode with the paddles set up, because Yogi has figured out how to turn the rig on with his paw and then gets the paddles hung up and starts sending CW! This is an early shot of him, he's grown a bit since when this was taken.

OK - question: How do you guys  insert a photo?   I've tried "attaching", and  clicking on the "insert image" button, but neither comes out the way all yours do???

In a previous post, you used

Quote
img width=350 height=236]http://www3.sympatico.ca/esieb/cuddlebuddies.jpg[/img]

That puts the image via a link right in the message.

Attaching a file requires hitting the choose file button, which SHOULD bring up a dialog box wherein you can select a file on your LOCAL machine. Select the file and hit the Chose button. Then hit post. If you've already done this and it didn't work, I'm at a loss for a solution without further info.

And from Christmas 2006 in the radio room, how many cats can you find in this photo?  (hint there are 4 including 2 Siamese).

One under the tree to the left, one with its head stiking out to the right of the child and the two obvious ones in the right foreground. Nice shot!

Which ones were they Rodger?

Daphne, Skunklet, CQ?  I assume not Siam Sam, since he has FIV?  Which ones the 4th one?

Hi Steve,

Good eyes, you got it!

Ellen, the cats are Daphne, CQ, Tiffany, and Siam Sam.  Sam gets to visit with the others but is kept under supervision when he is out of the basement radio room.

The story on Sam is that he wandered up as a stray.  Last winter I went out to the barn to plug the tractor block heater in at 3 A.M. one morning to prepare for plowing the driveways and I caught a glimpse of a large white cat running through the snow.  Over the next several months he resisted all attempts at taming until I brought home a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken and he followed me from the car and up the sidewalk.  He then moved into the basement and is an incredibly friendly cat.  Fortunately he is in excellent health and the vet expects he will have a pretty full life.  He has all of his claws and can jump from the highest radio shelf to your shoulder without causing injury.

From the radio standpoint, the Johnson Desk KW is to the left and the table to the right had the Heathkit SB line on it.  The SB line is now in the basement radio room and the Collins S line is now where the Heath gear used to reside.  There is also a Tektronix 551 and 7854 in the picture.

Sarah (laying next to the computer as I type this) applauds your rescuing of Siam Sam, and giving him a home.  He is a pretty little boy.

The simplest things can make a Christmas memory.

The cat tonight gave us this picture, just as content as she could be.

Harley is a pretty little kitty Paul.  She's probably feeling happy to be in a good home.
