Hi !

This is sort of a stupid, but nevertheless annoying problem.  I have a bunch of Tektronix scope probes around here, but I only have 1 tip amongst all the probes.  The tips are real nice - they have a spring action when you pull back on it, exposing a sort of hook end, which clamps nicely around wires and things.

Where can these tips be found???  Can they be found?  I have done a fair amount of searching, and can't find any of these (just the tips) for sale anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated  Undecided

Puzzled !

Thanks for the link.  Unfortunately, no tips for the 6105 or 6106 probes, which is what I have around here.  I did take a close look at the tips, to see if the ones they had might be what I was looking for, but the tips appear to be for completely different types of probes.

Thanks again!

Regards,

(and still looking!)

How about this:
http://www.tequipment.net/TektronixP6105A.html

Or, go right to the source for Tektronix replacement Parts:

Steve, look at these guys:

http://probemaster.com/shop/

There's a cross reference of their stuff to Tek.

I use their probes, well built and much more affordable that "the real things".

Hey Steve I bought a couple probes from ESS a couple years ago.
BTW our Techs call them "witches hats"  There are a number of different sizes that all look similar. I'll check around to see if I have any spares.
I'm in L.I. so maybe tonight.
