Home now I was on a business trip.
The L.I. meaning proper use of the word "ya"
I was driving in Port Jeff. this afternoon and got to the Ferry just as it was leaving the dock. There were cones in the street blocking the entrance from the direction I was approaching, so decided to drive around and find a way to double back......I couldn't resist...I stopped a cop on the street and asked him how to double back because of the cones in the street. I had figured it out but had to do it. So when he was done telling me I said "ya, thanks officer" L.I. is a cool place and people were nice.
So then I cross the pond back into Ct. and within 10 minutes I'm flipping of an AH with Mass plates arter he cut me off and slowed down.
