I have some HV caps called Bycap they are in various values 2mF at 5kv and 0.1mf at 2kv. They look like toilet paper tubes with epoxy or ceramic ends.

Are these just honking big doornobs??  could I use them as power supply filter caps??

Anyone know what they are?

power supplies yes, RF no. I suspect they have a fairly high ESL or effective series inductance. They anr not door knob caps.
