Hi,
I thought you might be interested in this short video about a local ham who is operating WD2XSH/17 on 600 Meters from Marshfield, MA.
Dave build this transmitter and it puts out 650 watts using a reworked SB200, reworked HIFI amp, a homebrew pre-amp and the output from a HP test receiver.
Because of the negative gain of the antenna his ERP is only 16 watts but this was heard in Europe. He has had a QSO with Mississippi.
See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGQdX2Iqgqw

For info see: www.500kc.com
For a look from Ohio to see whats heard on 600 Meters: http://ne-ohio-grabber.kn8azn.com/NE_Ohio_Grabber.html
