This large transformer has a 430, 456, 0r 490 volt tapped primary and a 240 or 120 volt secondary. It is rated at 10 kva. Came from an old abandoned mine in the desert of Arizona. It has a couple of bullet holes but luckily they are in the hollow section where the wiring connections are made and not in the core section. A coat of paint would make it not so ugly but it works beautifully. It weighs about 120 lbs. If anyone could use this hunk of copper & iron and has a way of getting it, it's yours. I could meet someone around the Hartford, Ct. area if anyone is going to be travelling through & wouldn't mind transporting it for a friend. I hate to scrap it.

Lets see, a voltage doubler makes it a fine for oh... say 50 ea. 4D32's in push pull, parallel.
Would that qualify it for direct feed into 50 ohms?   Just about.  Guess you'd need some sort of harmonic attenuation with a 1:1 pi net.

So where's that truck full of Raytheon's that showed up a couple of years ago.
