What to do with a 10' long, 5" diameter pyrex glass tube?

A lady who works with my wife invited me over to clean some "radio junk" from the cellar of a house she is trying to rent out. Otherwise, it was all about to go to the dump.  So I went over this morning.  Mostly old WW2 military surplus in well corroded condition from over 50 years in damp environment.  I did pick up a couple of Bud table-top rack cabinets, an ARC-5 receiver, a bunch of tubes and a tall 19" steel rack panel with chassis attached.  Also got the remains of a BC-375, but it is so corroded that none of the mechanical stuff will budge.  I may salvage the rotary inductor, turns counter and the 211's and give away or part out the rest, but for now I'll just stash it around here somewhere.

But the most unusual item that I couldn't bear the thought of seeing go to the dump and get broken, was a 10' long, 5" diameter Pyrex glass tube.  The  lady had no idea where it came from or what it was used for, but she was glad for me to haul it away.  I'll store it under the house in the crawl space, where it won't get broken.  I can't imagine what use I would ever have for such a thing, but if I ever needed something like that in the future, it would be pure 100% unobtainium.

I have thought that with some types of room décor, it would make an attractive glass support post.  I have also thought about what a nice coil form it would make for a large Tesla coil.  Not sure if the length to diameter ratio would be optimum for that purpose, though.

If someone could convince me that they had a good use for it, I would probably part with it, but in the meantime, it is an oddball item lying around here just begging for a use.

Since we've covered the rediculous to the sublime, how about a real use: cut it into smaller lengths and make chimneys for 4-400's and 3-500s.

They used to have pyrex drain pipes in the chem labs of the local University... about the same size per section.

How about, close ends, sealed, evacuate, fill with neon, apply high voltage??

I suspect maybe it was a drain pipe for something corrosive.  It as about the same size, shape and length as the PVC ones that I used to build a drain to carry water away from the crawl space of my house.

Probably too skinny to use for a Tesla coil form, and get the proper Q for the self-resonant circuit.
