I have "inherited" a Radiometer AFM 2 AM/FM Modulation Meter, but regrettably it is duff. The PSU is OK, but the internal IF Test fails.

If any forum member has a service manual, or some insight into this instrument, please e-mail me: farson at shaw dot ca.

Update, September 2011: I have been able to locate an operating and service manual. The meter is working fine, and is even in a good state of cal. I had tested it incorrectly due to lack of a manual.

The Internal IF Test operates correctly if a test signal is applied to the meter's RF input.
