Schematic on BAMA:   http://ftp://bama.sbc.edu/downloads/rca/bta1r1/

RF driver is 6146, don't recall the osc and buffer tubes

Audio is a pair of 2E26s

Have fun!

I was looking at getting one of the 1kw RCAs last year.

Iirc, some have 2 x 833 and some have 2 x 4-400 in the mod deck.

Either way, you can always put in what you'd like!  Wink

Nice rig, and will put out some snot with really clean audio...  Grin
Make sure the floor is strong enough...  Roll Eyes

I think the tube lineup is the same as my BTA-1S. A 12BY7 in the oscillator, but my osc. has been rebuilt so I could be wrong, feeding a 6146 buffer/driver to the pair of 4-400's.The audio section has a pair of 2E26's driving the pair of 4-400 modulators. I'm still battling audio problems with my TX.After I fix that I will move it to 80m.

From Page 5 of the manual:
Oscillator: 6AK5
Osc. output:  5763
RF Buffer  (driver):  6146
Output: 4-400C X 2
AF Drivers: 2E26 X 2
Modulators: 4-400C X 2

It's almost like a great big DX-100!   Grin
BTW -  from the color scheme, and the fact that you're missing a pair of 8008's in the rectifier section, (i.e.: you've got solid state rectifiers) that llooks like  a BTA1R3, not a 1R1.
