ya it is tricky but worth it to get it right. one of my less bright mods,
I screen modulated a 4xc350a in my dx60. put a doubler and had
around 1500v on the plate. it was tricky to drive w/o drawing grid
current, and I used darlington connected horizontal sweep transistors
to mod the screen. the sucker put out 50-60watts of great audio.
I didn't like the blower noise, and eventually put it back to the 6146.
