Brrrr- it's cold in the shack! Fire up the BIG RIG

Ok, it was like 1974-5 and I bought me an AM plate modulated boatanchor on the cheap, like $25. As far as my mind can recall it was a B&W, it had a BLACK front panel and potted xfrmrs... the reason I mention this is that I have a friends B&W 5100-B here on my bench and it seems rather "different" than the one I remember/dreamed up in my twisted mind!?!?

Help me!
Have I lost my mind?
What was the rig that I owned??
I thought it was a B&W for sure.
Thought it was a 5100.
Was it?
Black front panel??

Maybe the B&W 6100. I think part of it's face was black.

Well IF I had a time machine it would very easy to "determine"!  Roll Eyes

It was not synthesized.

Slide rule dial. Like a B&W.

What else could it have been???

Commercially made transmitter. AM. 100 watt class. BLACK front panel. Seems like I recall aluminum knobs.
Not as wide as a 5100 I think, but how wide is an HT-37? That fit in about the same width.

My silly mind says it was a B&W...

Any ideas?
