Hi guys,
I just downloaded most of the service manuals for my TEK7000 series scopes and most of the plug ins. They even had the manual for my new to me 7904  1GHz machine. Someone must have donated this stuff recently.  you need speed the files are pretty large.  gfz

I damn near worked on everything Tektronix put out upto 1989. As far as their manuals are concerned, they are the top when it comes to service information and understanding. I worked on their old 'bloomin' terminals, their 4631 copiers up to their new inkjet printers and workstations. Their manuals were concise and very easy to read.

Mike,
I have a 7603, 7623A and 7904. The 7603 went dark. This happend once before when a trace opened on the low voltage module. I need to fix it since it makes a good monitor scope without a fan. The 7904 is great it can easily see a 1 GHz sine wave. Great for looking at class e finals to see what is really going on.
TEK scopes are the best! I was very surprised to find the manuals for all three main frames and almost all of the plug ins. The R7623A is the workhorse most of the time.   fc
