I'd like to share a tip that makes cleaning “detailing” virtually any product very easy. Car detailers use “cleaning gels”, a substance very similar to “Slime” that kids play with. I use it for clean camera and lens bodies (NOT THE LENS SURFACE) and all my radios, or just about any other item where that fine dust and dirt accumulates in hard-to-reach crevasse. You simply roll the “blob” over the surface and all the foreign matter vanishes! Of course it also works great on your car’s dashboard!

Amazon carries many different brands - the photo is what I found at my local auto parts store
