What size jack is supposed to be in an LS-3 speaker?
I have two of them and one has a .250 jack and one has a .210 jack.
Both appear to still have have the protective coating on the solder connections. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Don W9BHI

It seems to have originally been the smaller style that fits the PL-68 male microphone plug. I always thought that odd and when I got an LS-3,if there was just a hole there, I would put in the standard 1/4 inch jack for a PL-55 plug.

Hello,

My R-388 has both size jacks on the FP.  The .250"
one is labled "PHONES" the other is labled "speaker".

My BC-312 has 3 x .210 size jacks, one labeled
"SPEAKER  2nd Audio"  and two labled "PHONES 2nd Audio".

So I dont know, Perhaps it just comes down to
the Radio Set they were purchased for.
