July 5, 16:00 - 17:45 (CEST), CERN LHC to be fired up after years of upgrades are completed. The largest vacuum tube in the world, this magnificent atom smasher will be brought up to 13.6 TeV. new world record. It uses Protons instead of Electrons IIRC, but why quibble.

On July 3-4 there is a symposium followed by the full power run on the 5th.
All of this will be streamed. The link tells all.

CEST is Central European Summer Time, I believe. I think it's 9-11AM CST on the 5th.
