For Sale: Nice Bird 43 wattmeter with 1000H slug (2-30mHz 1000W). Slug works fine on 160 meters. Model 43-400 peak reading accessory is installed - I believe this was a Bird after market add on accessory to the model 43. This unit also has the model 4273 RF sampler installed. This allows an accessory such as a frequency counter or oscilloscope to sample the RF signal. UHF connectors. Works 100% in the avg power mode. I believe it reads a bit low in the peak mode. For example, with 250W avg power and 100% AM modulation it reads around 600W peak power. No manuals. $200.00 plus shipping for all.
