Didn't hear a thing on 10 meter AM today and precious little on slopbucket. Where did all those signals go?

Between 9:30-10AM I heard several European stations on AM. None had great signal strength and all had some QSB. I heard a one-land station working European stations I could not even hear; couldn't even detect a carrier.

10 meters loaded with signals across the pond this morning.
Home today. Under the wx.
Literally talked myself out but not before Chuck K1KW and I were able to get a couple comparisons.
He's only got me by like 30 dB.
Going to install some oxygen free antenna cable.
Will report back....

Make sure you run the feeline from east to west; as the earth rotates, you'll get the electrons moving faster so yer signal will reach farther.

I was around from roughly 9:30 to about 11 AM. Not much action on 10 AM; just a few marginal signals out of Europe. Heard some good European signals on FM. SSB area was busy but wasn't in the mood. Rolled down to 15 AM and worked a few European stations but all had marginal signals. Went up and read the Sunday papers.

Worked G0EWX on 29000 at about 10:50 local. H was waiting for NE1S to come back from a short break. Moved to 29090 and talked with GW3TMP at about 10:55 until he faded out about 12 mins later. Band quiet in AM area before and after. Listened to KL7GKY for a long time while working around the compound.
