As I was getting ready to shut down last night I noticed a nice wide open area around 3875 so I called CQ to fill up the space. Much to my surprise Ted - WF0N from Lawrence, Kansas came right back to me with a very impressive signal. Ted runs a K7DYY class D transmitter and it sounded very nice here. The link below will take you to a YouTube video (one minute in length) that showcases Ted's transmitter and gives an idea of the nice conditions at the time.

At times he was slightly above 20 dB over S-9. It would be nice to see conditions like this continue through the winter months so we can enjoy some "clear channel" coast-to-coast conversations.
