Still looking through my "stuff", this afternoon I just got some measured data from a true KW capable sort-of-roller inductor I have, it will tune down to 1.8 MHz with 180 pf of tuning cap. This is a real quality unit, I don't think I have ever seen a variable inductance coil that could take the power this one can. The actual coil measures 8" L x 4" D and has 4.2 turns per inch of edge wound 3/8" wide silver plated material. I calculated its inductance at 46.5 uHy, it actually measures 47.2 uHy. Overall size of unit is 6" H x 5" W x 13 1/4" L. Unlike many "roller" coils this one turns and tunes very easily due to four sliding silver contacts touching both sides of the edge-wound coil. I would judge the condition to be almost "as new". $100 plus shipping   Don, W2DL
