I wish they had shown a close-up of the base of the tower, including the insulator if they used one.

It's hard to make out but there's an insulator in the tower photo.  It's a single point ceramic from the outline against the background of the transmitter hut.  I can't tell if it is the Lapp taper type or the newer Austin cylindrical.
