Never did it in the dirt other than MX but loved it on the ice. Did it for a few years. Quite the rush. Old style Flat track racing (with no brakes) seperates the men from the boys!! Try pitchin it sideways with no brakes at 80 or 90 and horsing it through the turn!! Been there, done that!! (try that with a sport bike)

Bob, if you've got a spare set of carbs for the cb350 you want to part with, or know of a place where I can mail-order new slide diaphragms, let me know! That and some carb holders, and a bunch of BB's rattled around in the gas tank is all mine would need to start running!

All kidding aside, I had a blast with an Ossa 250 in the gravel pits around here (southern NJ) back in 1973. Used to get up to speed at the bottom and try to ride up the sheer face of the pit.
Almost made it once.

Frank says -- watching the hair on the back of my neck so THAT"s where it is ... Carol, smiles satisfied after search for hair on her husband's neck. Brentina, hair intact, stands there regarding the scene.

Used to frequent the hill climbs in Munson, MA. Quite a spectacle to see all sorts of rider try to get to the top of the hill on whatever machine one could come up with. All kidding aside, I had a blast with an Ossa 250 in the gravel pits around here (southern NJ) back in 1973. Used to get up to speed at the bottom and try to ride up the sheer face of the pit.

Jason, I picked up a spare set for myself on that E place last winter. The deal was good and I got a good deal. I find the best deals are had on the E place during the winter when riding season is dead. I'm not as lucky as you. I need to do a full restoration to make it like new. It's been sitting in my parents shed for 25 or so years and the mice got into it. It's a mess. Bob, if you've got a spare set of carbs for the cb350 you want to part with, or know of a place where I can mail-order new slide diaphragms, let me know! And I agree, chicks on sportbikes are hotter that chicks on Harleys! I don't care what kind of motorcycle they're on, and it doesn't matter if they're the pilot or the passenger. Bare shoulders with an attitude headed down the road is hi hi FB with me over over. Seen yesterday.

Someone better feed that last one, looks as if she'd black out from starvation and drop the bike!

Up here in ct. I think it was drive like a jerk day. I was on the horn 100 yards from the end of my street when some bimbo pulled out in front of me just to take the next right into the local day care. I layed on the horn so her kids could see that she was cut me off. Then I got on the highway to see the high speed jerks.

Hey I'm up by the nothern boarder just south of drive like a jerk land. Every morning it is the same on the highway. Some AH with ma plates changing lanes every quarter mile. I'm doing good if I make it to work without flipping anyone off.

" I make it to work without flipping anyone off "
In the Omega Man, there was a person who had a drawing of a fist w/ extended middle finger on his jacket .... I was horrified when it made it to TV.
..... Maybee this can become a new fashon statement.. ( like the car window 'waving hand' with most fingers broken off .... .. klc

Yes Bill, one of the most congested roads in fact. But my point is that it didn't matter, nor did the rough pavement now heaved up by the heat, as this SYT bounced on the seat, came down hard, and NOTHING oscillated on landing. Eventually she shifted a bit to the side to uh, get more comfortable, and that was even better, but here I was also trying to drive. and row the gearbox, sorry, no photos.

Hey Paul, be careful not to fly into the target area. hardened targets need a bigger store and usually make a bigger blast.

One is doing good if one makes it to anywhere without flipping the vehicle.
