Hi Bob,

Yup, 7.290 is the place. I suspect the spring season has most people outdoors and away from the radio and conditions lately have been long on 40. Yesterday (Saturday) early afternoon was good enough from here in the Detroit area to work Ashtabula Bill/W8VYZ near Cleveland and a few others. Keep trying, I'll listen for you.

Surprizingly good activity Friday and Saturday evening on 7290. W9AD, W8VYZ, WA3WMI and at least 3 others coming and going that slip my mind now. I heard a K6P?? last nite thru the noise but just couldn't pull 'em thru.

Check late evening thru 10PM. It might get interesting.
