Hello Baltimore Washington area AMers,
A group of LOWFERS have been monitoring a mystery beacon at 505KHz for the past few weeks.  Bearings seem to point to the DC area, particularly Manassas or Arlington.

Would any of you in the area be able to turn on an RX and see if you get any daytime signal to confirm the area or origin?

The CW ID is NEED and carrier has varied from 505 to 507.  It is not part of the experimental 600 meter license ops.
