I received an e-mail from Glen and he is on his 4th tour in Iraq..not sure of his call, but he says things are quite bad, worse than the propaganda on the news networks.

If you get a minute please send him a e-mail and keep him in your prayers.  zemanek@att.net

Chris KD2XA has been helping him set up an A.M. station when he was state-side.

his call is KC2FZV. he's been in Afgahinstan since OCT 2001 and is now in Iraq. he's had little time for radio over there, but did get on 20 and 17 portable YA1 last year PW/QRP. Glen is a Great American, and all around good guy. got him set up with an AM station and good antenna at his house last year, but he was only on a few days before shipping out again.

Worse? Geez... IMHO we should bring all our heros back home safe and let those rotten ungrateful SOB's blow each other up. Once they're all neutralized we should go back for the oil!
