Hello Everyone,
I'm just getting acquainted with my Yaesu FRG-7700 receiver. I'm using this in the "small station" AF-67 driving an AL811A amplifier. I did a receiver sensitivity test and discovered that the radio was deaf 2mhz and down to the bottom of the BC band. After buying the manual for $35 I discovered that the BC antenna was separate from the MW/SW RF circuits in the front end. A simple jumper from the MW/SW port to the BC ant makes it wonderful. The receiver is consistant with 50 microvolts making an S-9 on all bands and about 5. - 1 microvolt sens.....even to the BC band.
OOOPS this may have been a QSO.......sorry
Fred

Fred,
I had the same situation with mt "Froggie 7700" and should have told you! When I first hooked it up I noticed 160M was deaf until I checked out the skizmatic!
