I know I have seen articles on AM Window for a Mod Scope Tap and a Off Air Audio Tap.  I am not sure about a frequency meter tap.  Does anyone know where these are in AM Window.  I have looked but can't seem to find them.

David,

East Coast Sound has a few of the articles you mentioned.

Here's one about making a simple RF scope pickup.

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

I've been using that pickup design in my shack for a while now.. works OK-Fine!

Plenty of boltage when running 100+ watts

Hello
There was a nice article in ER for getting RF taps to test equipment. The author was using ferrite cores to sample a little RF from the main feed line. Mounted in a simple aluminum box with PL 259's and BNC's to the test equipment. I forget how many turns and the core material.  I hope someone with a great memory or has the er mag near by can help. I'll rummage through my collection and see what happens. I tried some on-line searching for an ER index and not having any luck.

Hello AGAIN,
Thanks to N9OO, I found an index for ER. The article was ER 170 Jul 2006. RF pickup in a box.
