OK those who know me are aware that my frequent business and pleasure travel is often used as an excuse to try out a new brew pub. When I went to Dayton in 2000 I remember going to a small single story wood (log cabin style?) restaurant out of town by itself that had an excellent selection of beers and German food.

Anybody knows where that was?  Can anyone recommend a good place with an excellent choice of brew? We will be staying up in Troy.

Alas all I can find on the web is a local micro brew with a glass i just gotta get
