RE: Amateur Radio Service License KB2IXT
Case #EB-2005-2692

Dear Mr. Thumhart:

Enclosed are copies of complaints filed against the operation of your station. The complaints allege deliberate interference and spurious emissions on 75 meters.

Section 308(b) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. gives the Commission the authority to obtain information from applicants and licensees about the operation of their station and their qualifications to remain a licensee. Accordingly, you are requested to review the complaint and respond to this office within 20 days. We note that the complainants contacted you during and after the transmissions to inform you of the problem. You are requested to describe what, if any, actions you took upon being notified by complainants.

In an inquiry of this type we are required to notify you that a willfully false or misleading reply constitutes a separate violation made punishable under United States Code Title 18, Section 1001.

Didn't they commandeer 3892 after Baxter got nailed ?

Gee, without their leader, none of them has much to say.

They were run off by a new group of red necks on 3.892. Fred moved down to 3.889
and had a nasty spur down around 3.883. People would tell him about it and he said he would make an adjustment but nothing changed after his adjustments. I hear he is up on 20 meters nowadays doing what???

Maybe I should wait a few years and sell his QSL card on ebay.

Then again, maybe I should bring it to The Mountain and use it to start a fire in The Woodoline Stove.

Toilet paper, anyone?

Glen listed his QSL card on ebay as a very rare card and someone purchased it for about $5.00

Having listened to this so-called net periodically just to see who it was who was splattering so badly (guess who) the conversations always seemed to be rather one sided. There always seemed to be one broadcaster with a couple of stations mistaking him for a net control station. Useless!
