I just tuned up to 11 meters and heard all kind of strong signals.  They remind me of the signals from 6 years ago.  Wonder if 10 will be open for some mid distance communications this afternoon?

Hi Jim,
I occasionally pop up to 10 and have a listen and throw out a CQ.  Sometimes the band is open to the south for a little while.  A couple of times the signals from the south were pretty strong.  Other times things are mediocre.  And then there are the times nothing is happening at all.

Following that post, I called CQ and was answered by W7FOX in Tuscon.  He was boo koos over S9 for a QSO that lasted for almost an hour.  I took a break for lunch and called again to be answered by WA0GAG in Colorado.

Another QSO for about a hour with no loss of signal.  Sure was nice and wish some of you NE guys that I rarely can hear had joined us.
