Having been to Gaithersburg hamfest a number of times, I was amazed at some of the background shots of Pictures 9, 10, 13, and 20. I recognized some of the walkway trails where all the vendors use to set up and prospective customers use to walk up and down. Where are all the hamfest people?

Pete,

Very astute observations on the photos.  One of the regulars took me on a tour of the fairgrounds and mentioned the vast areas taken up by the old festers.  The current fest is a mear shadow of the original.  The old timer said it started on the down slide about 8 years ago.

Ken,
Terrific pictures and it was great seeing you and everyone else there. It was great operating the special event station "W3F" that Frank KB3AHE did a fantastic job of putting together.
