Just got my hands on the schematic of the RF section. hoping to see the synthesizer soon. Turns out to be quite cool. Very similar to the Cubic R3030 front end. Digital AGC...hmmm that is why the S meter is so accurate.
I think it was well worth the $510 I paid for it.

Not much to hot rod because it is pretty cool stock. A few active filters and RC circuits to modify..... maybe. DSP works quite well!  fc
