Carl - I did a brief search in a '50's callbook I have and didn't turn up anything for W1CEK.

I'll go through the QST database I have and see if I can turn anything up for him or 1CEK. Without an earlier callbook to search from, the only other thing I could do would be to check the physical copies of QST I have from 1917-1920. During that time they would sometimes list new hams and give their street address, etc etc.

Do you have any other information other than his callsign?

Carl,

Success this time.  I called my father, Paul W3VVS.  He has a June 1931 callbook:

Earl J. Atkinson
53 Main St.
Deep River, Conn.

It would be interesting to see a then and now picture if his QSL card included the outside of the QTH.

Thanks Tom. No picture but I will see what I can find. I used to live in Deep River and unfortunately in the 80s they renumbered the entire town. I went t form 50 high St to 73 High St. (Not a bad address for a ham.
