OK gang.....I am concerned about present times.  Specifically, someone might give us a 200 to 400 KV per meter surprise.

Accordingly, I am looking around old magazines for simple, reliable tube sets.

Present your ideas here.  Think around town, and maybe tri-county.  Thanks.

Buy a rice box and place her into an old microwave oven. Mr. Faraday would be proud. 'Course, where the power comes from......?

I know the site well.

Some ideas:

These are starters.  The idea is tubes and simple. Think 10, 6, and 2.  Maybe 40 meters in the day time.

Moving to HF.

I knew W4BIW.  He was at WSB for ages.

Idea: Change circuit to Colpitts oscillator.  6AQ5 instead of 6V6.
