Hello all,

Some of you may remember silent key, Al W0PUF. His BC-610E now belongs to a friend of mine, Bob K0GZL in Spearfish, SD. This BC-610 is a very fine specimen, but recently started blowing fuse FS-5. Bob and I spent all day last Saturday trying to figure out the problem, and we have come to the conclusion that T1 has developed a short. This is the bias transformer, as well as the filament transformer for the 2A3 audio drivers. If someone has a spare T1, or a workaround, I would very much like to hear from you. Thank you for reading this.
