NEED 17.00000 mc crystal for R-390a

My R390 crapped out on the lower bands and was traced to the crystal in the plug in unit on the back right hand side of the top deck, between the tuning unit and the case. Any leads on a replacement or a possible vendor?

i'd send you one myself Joe, but i'm out of them. you can get them from Fair Radio on the cheap though.  in a pinch i often take the 17MHZ crystal out of the hetrodyne oscillator unit and use that at the expense of losing one band. it's specs are also a bit different from the mixer crystal, but it will work.

Thanks Chris. I used the mixer crystal to "prove" the other on bad. Might the HC-6 type on the link page work?

The crystal came in yesterday, installed it in the oven and it woks GREAT !
