I recently acquired  a Globe 500 b. The vfo cover is missing any thoughts on how to make one or buy one.

Johnathan, if you're referring to the plastic cover, take a look here under "WRL":

A friend just bought one of these for his 500B.

Johnathan, I don't think he has installed it but he said the existing plastic is broken and the new one arrived 3 or 4 days after placing the order. I have a 500B I'm working on so I might order one so I have a spare.

Well it has to be better than what I have "nothing"My Globe looks nice  except some genius added a pilot light to the front that comes on when keyed. So being the anal person. I am on a quest for a new face. I figure I have two options weld the hole up and get the front refinished or find a parts rig. Ah fun with radios.

Mine isn't perfect either. Once I get it running I'll consider cosmetic improvements. I'm getting close but I need to measure the plate voltage of the 4-400 and my VTVM isn't working so I've got that apart for a look-see.
