New to this forum -- glad to have found it.

I recently picked up an HRO-60 that was probably on its way to the land of misfit toys, and have embarked on a restoration project.  This particular beast (ER 345) has been through some rough times -- here's what I'm dealing with:
- The previous owner(s) attempted a recap and never completed it.
- Sloppy soldering is everywhere -- and some toasted wires from overheating.
- Found some components replaced with the wrong values (both resistors and capacitors).
- Found some "extra" components that should be pulled out.
- Found a number of components installed in a less than ideal manner -- they need to be pulled and repositioned.
- The transformer was replaced at some point, and the soldering mess needs to be cleaned up.

Does anyone here have a working HRO-60 and would be willing to take high-resolution photographs of the underneath of the chassis, including shots of the base of each tube?  I can provide a secure file transfer link so that the full resolution files get through.  The HRO-60 I have is bordering on a reconstruction project and I need more to go by, if available.

Also -- the HRO-60 I have is ER 345; however, the schematics I have are for ER 459 and ER 500.  Not sure if there's any major differences.  Does anyone have an ER 345 manual?

Thanks,

Steve, KW4H

Hi Steve!

I have or can take some detailed photos of an HRO-60 for you. It may be a week or two though.

There are fun details on this radio too. Not sure of the schematic differences.
